Red jasper is a warm, earthy stone which is traditionally associated with stability and the root chakra. Traditionally used in facial massage, gua sha helps to encourage circulation, contour the face, reduce puffiness, relieve muscle tension and support the absorption of facial oils, serums, and moisturisers. With regular use, it can help leave skin looking brighter, smoother, and more refreshed.
How to use: Apply a facial oil or serum before use. Holding the tool at a gentle angle, glide it across the skin using light pressure. Sweep from the centre of the chin along the jawline towards the ear, down the sides of the nose towards the cheeks, and beneath the eyes towards the temples. Finish by gliding from the brow bone to the hairline. Repeat each movement three to five times.
Temperature ritual: For an extra de-puffing effect, leave in the fridge for 10 minutes before use, or warm it up briefly in your hands for a more grounding experience.
